Something Like a Wedding...The Dress

It's hard to believe it's all over, but Caroline married her beloved Peter on Sunday in a fantastical sensory feast of a wedding!
The Bride and Groom greeted their guests in one set of outfits and then snuck off and changed into their perfect 'getting married' get-up!

Vintage all the way!
Caroline wore a 1950s silver blue sequin and tulle sweetheart prom dress whilst Peter wore a vintage check blazer, yellow trousers sourced in New York and bow tie that Caroline had made for him.
Caroline also had fabulous vintage tattoo tights that you'll see more of in further posts!
Caroline and our niece gorgeous Tillie
Caroline made her vintage showgirl style crown using star, swallow, elephant and sun rhinestone brooches. She also had a delicate 1930s rhinestone pendant.

 I love this photo!
Peter looked dashing a vintage Aviator suit black and white spectators and Caroline changed in to a demure, 1940s white draped rayon wedding gown.
Caroline of course made a second headpiece to enhance her 1940s gown, it was a beautiful feather and crystal number adorned with white doves!

Hazahhh...and then they were married!

There was just so much going on at this wedding that I need to break the blog posts down. Later in the week I'll be showing you the stunning details that Caroline and Peter included in their vintage circus themed wedding...you won't believe the work and involvement that's coming next!!!
